UI/UX Designing — Human Computer Interaction

The idea of designing to delight users is also expertise I have built myself in. I love this area because it helps me to come up with designs that users can Interact well with and help to improve their user experience too. Check out some spectacular designs I have develop by clicking the button below

Web Development and Design

The designing and development of websites and web applications is something I have loved before enrolling at Ashesi University. I have gotten hands-on practice in Front-End development with tools such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Bootstrap, JQuery, AJAX, etc. For Back-End programming, I have used the server-side language, Hypertext pre-processor(PHP) whiles for the database aspect, I have used MySQL, and PhpMyAdmin which handles the administration of MySQL database. WordPress, Wix, WYSIWYG Web builder, Webflow are some Content Management tools I have worked with and have expertise in

Database Systems

Data storage and management is a critical subject in computer science. Some of the more interesting areas of database administration are the study of relational database management systems, conceptual database design, data storage methods, and the use of the CRUD (Create, Read, Update, Delete) operations using SQL. Please take a look at my Ashesi Capstone Project in the domain of database design and development.

Data Science

As I mentioned previously, data collection and storage are critical. The new question is how to make sense of this data, how do we use this data when supplied to an algorithm, help show patterns, knowledge, and make enforced predictions. Data Science, as a branch of computer science then comes to mind. Data Science elaborates on how furnished input data having been fitted into an Algorithm / Model can show patterns, knowledge and make predictions. Prior exposure to concepts such as supervised learning, non-supervised learning, fitting a model, exposure to Pandas library, Tableau, to mention a few are some experiences I have had in this remarkable field.

ProcessMaker (BPM)

ProcessMaker 4 is a BPM platform for designing and automating business workflows. It offers a drag-and-drop BPMN 2.0 modeler to map processes clearly and align them with business goals. It allows defining rules, setting SLAs, and tracking performance through dashboards and reports. For Developers, it provides custom scripting (JavaScript), REST API integration, and external data connectors. They can build advanced logic, interact with third-party systems, and extend the platform as needed. The form builder enables creation of responsive, dynamic user interfaces without coding. Custom CSS and JavaScript can be applied for a tailored UI/UX experience. ProcessMaker supports user roles, conditional routing, and event-driven automation. Its modular and open-source architecture makes it flexible for both small and enterprise projects. Overall, it bridges technical and non-technical teams to streamline business process automation.
